The best assisted living staff is at Broad Creek Manor and they all have one thing in common: a dedication to offering compassionate and quality care to all of our residents. We strive to provide a welcoming home away from home, where everyone is treated with the respect and dignity they deserve.
Both Scott and Melissa are professionals; Scott earned his Master’s Degree in 2004 and Melissa earned her Bachelor’s in 2000. Scott has been an engineer and worked his way up in his current company to Vice President. He has had many roles in his company including technical director, marketing manager, Senior Engineer and now was promoted to Vice President. He has worked with his current company for 14 years and also has completed a business management/entrepreneur training class.
Melissa has been an occupational therapist since 2000 and has worked in a variety of settings including working 5 years in assisted living facilities and now works as a home care therapist. Her skill set involves working with the elderly, teaching staff how to improve care with the elderly, modifying environments for fall risk and improvement with activities of daily living. In addition, she interacts with family of the elderly on a daily basis. She has been in home care for over 14 years and the skill set she has developed will allow her to successfully manage an Assisted Living Facility.
In addition, both Scott and Melissa have managed their professional careers while successfully managing and running a real estate rental business. We have purchased foreclosure properties, rehabbed the properties, found tenants, and managed the rental process while being profitable over the last 6 years.
Based on the above, we feel we are capable to successfully run an Assisted Living Facility.
